We got to Germany in the end of April and took our first trip last week...to Salzburg, Austria.  What an amazing place!  If you didn't know, its the city where the "Sound of Music" was filmed.  My husband came up with the idea, I think only because he wanted to see the Eagle's Nest, Hitler's vacation house (hes kind of a history nerd).  We were blessed with mostly clear skies the whole weekend which was perfect to be able to see the tops of the Bavarian mountains.
In the photos you will see the Mirabella Gardens, which if you remember doe-ray-me you will recognize it and also the church in the photos is from the film.  Most of the mountain shots were taken during our trip to the Eagle's Nest, and the panoramic shot was taken from the top.  I hope that we get a chance to go back there sometime, it was a great place to visit!

This is life...not staged, not planned, not perfect.  As most of you know we have been visiting family before our move to Germany, so life is a little out of the ordinary this month.  But this is a little peek into one of my mornings....

Being at my mom's has made me realize how much my life as well as others have changed so much.  I am so happy with it and how it has turned out this far :)

Our last couple days in Mississippi :(  Patience enjoyed some time outside playing with our friends' kids.  We are so blessed to have friends that took us in the last couple weeks before we left.  We are now travelling across the east coast...from MS to FL to SC to NY then onto our final trip to Germany.  Not sure how much green we will be seeing in Germany when we arrive, there may still be snow on the ground.  So here are some shots of all the green we had in Mississippi.  I am going to miss it!

 And this is now....

Next weekend is my little girl's 2nd Birthday!  Seemed like she was just a little baby not too long ago.   So I had to take her out for a photo shoot.  This is just the apple part of the session.  There are lots more but these are my favorite.  She loves apples, usually i peel or slice them for her so she wasnt too thrilled about the skin but I was still able to capture some beautiful photos.  Here's Patience...
